Rae grew up in South Jersey where she graduated from Cherokee High School. She completed her undergraduate degree in Accounting and Business Administration at Arcadia University in 2007. Rae worked as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC before going on to earn a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Stockton University in 2013. After graduation, Rae completed three years of clinical experience and over 5,000 hours of direct practice in hand therapy through work at The Hand Surgery and Rehabilitation Center of NJ. Rae earned her certification in Hand Therapy in 2017.
Rae’s clinical interests include complex fractures, tendon injuries, splinting, and plaster casting. Rae’s coursework and certification include Graston Technique, Physical Agent Modalities, CMMS casting, custom splinting, and wound care. Rae is a member of NJOTA, AOTA, and ASHT to continue furthering her education in occupational therapy and hand therapy trends and research. In her free time, Rae coaches gymnastics and travels with her husband.
