Michael Roberto, PT, DPT
Michael Roberto completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Rowan University in 2010. While attending Rowan University, Michael was a certified personal fitness trainer for 3 years and guided individuals in completing their health goals. Michael went on to achieve his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree at Drexel University in 2013. Michael completed a case report poster presentation while at Drexel, which was accepted by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) to present at their combined sections meeting in 2014. After graduating from Drexel, Michael completed a 13-month orthopedic physical therapy residency program at Drexel University to advance his skills in treating various musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. During the residency program, Michael was a teaching assistant in upper limb, spine, and lower limb orthopedic courses for the Doctorate of Physical Therapy students at Drexel University. Michael will be sitting for his Orthopedic Clinical Specialty (OCS) certification in March 2015. Michael is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in addition to the Orthopedic Physical Therapy special interest group. Michael also plans to advance his clinical skills by becoming certified in the McKenzie method (MDT) and completing a manual therapy fellowship program.
