Melanie completed her undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science at Rowan University in 2013. During her studies, she played on the Rowan University Women's Soccer Team before suffering career ending knee injuries. After graduation she completed an internship at a nationally recognized sports performance company and began working as a performance coach. She then went on to continue her education and earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University. Melanie has taken her experiences as an athlete and as a performance coach to help enhance her approach for the care of athletes.
Melanie's clinical interests include a wide variety of orthopedic injuries, with a special interest in knee rehabilitation and injury prevention. She uses a patient centered approach to her treatment providing specialized care to help them achieve their goals. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors, traveling, and coaching at a local soccer training facility for goalkeepers called The Keeper Institute.
