Laura K. Johnson grew up in South Jersey where she graduated from Shawnee High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Messiah College in 2008. Her Doctorate in Physical Therapy was completed at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in conjunction with Rutgers University Camden in 2011. Her Certificate in Advance practice of Hand and Upper Extremity Rehabilitation was earned at Drexel Univerisity in 2016, which was shortly followed, by her earning the title of Certified Hand Therapist. Laura enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic disorders, with her specialty being in the Hand and Upper Extremity. She continues to pursue further education in Hand and Upper Extremity treatment. Laura has a passion for education and enjoys teaching both current and future physical therapists about the hand and upper extremity. She has taught at Thomas Jefferson University and plans to continue to lecture for local schools. When not working in the clinic Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs. She also enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and going to the beach.
