Brian attended Penn State University (2002-2006) where he majored in Kinesiology. He then enjoyed returning to his home city of Philadelphia to attend Drexel University for his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2007-2010). Brian joined Strive in 2010 when there were only 7 PT’s (including Mark, Erich, and Jamie) and only 1 location (Moorestown). He became the Assistant Clinical Director of the Moorestown clinic in 2013-14, before transitioning to the role of Clinical Director of the Sewell clinic in 2014-15. Brian is Certified in the Functional Movement Screen, Graston Technique, Certified Vestibular/Concussion Specialist, and a Certified McKenzie Practitioner (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy). He also has training and continuing education in: Maitland, Mulligan, and Sahrmann. Brian enjoys mentoring DPT students from local Doctorate programs and has been a teaching assistant at University of the Sciences.
In 2015-16, Brian and his wife (Jordan) traveled cross country to San Diego, CA where Brian worked at the Naval Medical Center as the Physical Therapist for the Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard Active Duty population. This trip allowed the Blatt’s to visit 10 National Parks during their road trips in 2015-2016, including the Grand Canyon, Zion, Yosemite, Sequoia, Bryce Canyon, Grand Tetons, Badlands, and Yellowstone. Brian, his wife, and cat (Sydney) own a house in South Philly and love trying new restaurants in the city. They are expecting their first child in 2018!
