Amanda graduated from Widener University, class of 2010, with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Amanda is full body certified in Active Release Techniques for lower extremity, upper extremity and spinal injuries. January, 2014, she was certified in a new Active Release technique for complex protocols, and remains one of the few physical therapists on the east coast to have this training. She is also a Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner. Amanda has completed her training and is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (aka McKenzie Method), a specialization in treatment for conditions of the spine and extremities. Amanda also completed her training with Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars and received her COMT (Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist) Certification. In addition, Amanda has formal training and four years experience in applying the Graston Technique. This technique is a specialization addressing muscular dysfunctions that is common with most overuse injuries or scar tissue build up. Amanda has also had formal training and experience working with TMD (temporomandibular Disorder) cases.
