Abby received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in January 2015. Prior to attending Arcadia, she completed her undergraduate studies at Drew University where she was a member of the women’s soccer team, which sparked her passion for sports medicine and injury prevention. Abby has multiple years of experience coaching soccer, from beginners through the collegiate level, as she served as an assistant coach for the Rutgers Camden women’s soccer team for two seasons.
Following graduation, Abby continued to expand her education and is currently Board Certified in both Orthopaedics and Sports physical therapy. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), certified in Functional Movement Screening and Y-balance, and has been trained in proper power lifting techniques through USA Weightlifting. During her time at Strive, Abby helped to develop the company’s ACL Prevention Program. She has also co-author two separate articles that have been published in the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy and The Archives of Bone and Joint Surgery. Abby plans to pursue certifications in Active Release Technique in order to better serve the needs of the athletic population in the area.Back to Staff
