Physical TherapistValerie Iovine PT, DPT
Physical TherapistValerie attended Drexel University for both her undergraduate studies in Health Sciences as well as her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While growing up in Cinnaminson, Valerie attended a lot of physical therapy herself where she had found her own passion in helping others in the same way.
Valerie has taken several courses about the Ehlers Danlos Syndromes. She spends a lot of time working with the Ehlers Danlos Society and working with the current clinicians that specialize in the connective tissue disorder. She is recognized as a clinician on their directory that can help support patients living Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and its comorbidities. Additionally, she has been working on research in the field of hypermobility. Her passion is deep-rooted in caring for this population as she has fights through Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and associated comorbidities, herself and is very open about sharing her management strategies and experiences to better the care for the patient. She had spent years looking for a healthcare professional that gets it and now, wants to be that person for others. Valerie also is eager to treat a wide array of other orthopedic conditions and helping patients reach the best version of themselves.
Outside of Strive, Valerie loves to play games, craft and spend time with her family and friends and bring her cat everywhere she can go. Valerie is a big believer in “everything happens for a reason” and is happy to use her own experiences to help others with empathy and understanding.
