
Tom graduated from West Chester University in 2006 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine and obtained his Athletic Training Certification. He continued his education at West Chester University and earned his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology in 2008 while also working as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University. Tom then attended Physical Therapy School at Drexel University and achieved his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011. While in PT school, Tom’s second clinical affiliation was at Strive Physical Therapy at the Moorestown location. For his final project in PT school, Tom along with five of his fellow classmates contributed to a textbook chapter involving upper extremity sports injuries in the 6th edition of Rehabilitation of the Hand and Upper Extremity. Tom attended a Graston Technique course in August 2011. Furthermore, he hopes to continue his professional development by pursuing additional certifications such as: McKenzie, Active Release Technique, and Maitland. Due to his interest in treating orthopedic conditions Tom also plans to obtain an Orthopedic Specialist Certification in the future. Tom is very excited to be part of the Strive team and is currently working in the Burlington location.
