Amanda graduated from Widener University with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in May of 2010. She graduated in the top of her class and received awards for academic excellence. While at Widener, Amanda participated in a research study on women with breast cancer receiving physical therapy. She presented the research at the Annual Meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association in February 2010 in San Diego, CA as a platform presentation in the oncology section. Her research was also recently published in The Journal of Allied Health. Amanda has a strong interest in orthopedics and manual therapy. She aspires to obtain her Specialty Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, along with certifications in the McKenzie method and other manual techniques.
